Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan attends National Meeting (Rakernas) of Indonesian Provincial Government Association (APPSI) 2019 in Padang, West Sumatera, Wednesday (2/20) night.

Current APPSI National Meeting theme is "Reformation and Strategic Policies to Support Supperior Product Development and Inter-Regional Cooperation" 

One of the schedule is about APPSI General Chairman position handover, from Soekarwo who has been retired as East Java Governor to Longki Djanggola who serves as Central Sulawesi Governor.

"Thank you Pakde Karwo for your dedication as APPSI Chairman, and congratulation for Mr. Longki Djanggola for your new position," he stated as seen on his Facebook account, Thursday (2/21). 

For information, Longki Djanggola who previously served as APPSI Deputy Chairman is assigned as APPSI Chairman in the remaining months in 2015-2019 period until this November. Later on , election will be carried out for APPSI Chairman position in 2019-2024 period.
